The setup (sleep, space, and team flow)

We’re a small operation — personal, not hotel-like — and that’s exactly why guests & teams like it.

One-sentence positioning (Peak Performance): Peak Performance is a recovery-first base camp: quiet sleep, simple routines, and reliable logistics — so your training week stays focused.

Flexible capacity

  • From single/double accommodation to 12–16 people total (typical team week setup)

Team capacity (planning note)

  • From 2027: up to 14–16 guests (depending on unit mix)

  • From 2028–2029: up to 18–20 guests may be possible (subject to confirmation, week-by-week setup)

Common flow (what teams usually need)

  • A place to sleep well

  • A place to brief / debrief

  • A place to dry gear / do laundry

  • A base that makes it easy to keep the week simple

Briefing flow (indoors + outdoors)

Teams often use our Club House and outdoor spaces for:

  • Map talks and planning

  • Short debriefs after sessions

  • Mobility, warm-up, and reset time

It’s not a corporate conference room. It’s a functional, calm base camp — with the right atmosphere for focused work.

Training week support (light-touch, practical)

We don’t run your training. You bring your plan. But we can help you make the week smoother.

  • Local, practical pointers when you arrive (how the area “works”, what’s close, what’s sensible)

  • Suggestions for easy runs / longer days / recovery walks

  • A host who is present and proactive when needed — without over-managing your week

If you want, we can also suggest a recovery-focused add-on (Skogspaus-style forest pause) for athletes and staff.

Embargo & GPS etiquette (important)

In the build-up to major events, some areas may have access rules (including GPS/Strava/Livelox etiquette). We respect the official guidelines and encourage teams to do the same.

We are not an official organizer page. For official updates, embargo information, and event rules, always follow the WOC 2029 organizers and the relevant federation channels.

Facilities & logistics

What matters in real life (and what you get here)

  • Private bathrooms in the Guest House (ideal for staff/families or a small team unit)

  • Service House access (shared showers & toilets)

  • Kitchen & kitchenettes for simple self-catering (availability depends on your unit/setup)

  • Laundry corner with washing machine & dryer (available throughout your stay)

  • Club House access for team flow (espresso corner, lounge feel, practical indoor & waterside spaces)

  • Reliable WiFi (work/analysis friendly)

  • Large parking on-site (easy arrivals and gear handling)

Note: This is a base camp, not a resort. The value is in the rhythm: simple, clean, quiet, functional.

This page is part of our Peak Performance Base Camp concept: a simple container for what teams actually need — sleep, routines, and reliable logistics.

Location (built for logistics)

Docksta is a natural stop in Höga Kusten — easy to reach, and a good base for moving around the region.

  • Along the E4 (easy arrival for vans/cars)

  • Less than ~30 minutes from Örnsköldsvik / Själevad (WOC area access)

Getting here (quick overview)

  • By air: fly to a regional airport, then continue by car/bus

  • By train: train to the High Coast area, then local transport

  • By car/van: straightforward access via E4

Season logic (important)

The right fit by season

We keep the Base Camp flexible — so it works for both team training blocks and summer visitors.

  • May–June & September (best for teams): training camps, clinics, coach/staff workation weeks

  • July–August (summer stays): supporters, visitors, and High Coast holidays (Airbnb core)

  • Event weeks (summer 2029): availability may include team blocks — request early if you want to coordinate a group stay

Note for planning: In high season and close to the event, last-minute opportunities are unlikely. If you want a coordinated team setup, reach out early.

How to request a team week

Send:
